Deleting that recorded programme did not free up any space on the disk. The watched program shows a red box to show it is being recorded, but no recording appears in the list of recorded programmes and the recording is not saved.ħ Disk showed full after a recording. I could not delete any of these recordings, but when I cleared out the recording schedule, they all disappeared.Ħ Press the record button to record a watched programme. This caused three "recordings" to appear at the very end of the (sort by date) list all showing Channel 0 (whee BBC 1 is 1 etc), all with green warning boxes. If instead I delete the bottom one in the list, it gets deleted, but the top one stays, and is given its correct name.ĥ Deleting an old recording changed the name of another recording. If I delete the top one in the list (sorted by date, so the "started later" one), both get deleted. Both appear to be identical when I play them back. The wrong name is usually? always? the name of a missed recording in 1 above.ģ While a recording is being made the information panel shows the wrong time (eg it is 9:30 but the clock shows 11:37).Ĥ Two copies of a recording are saved.
Eg Record something from BB1 from 8pm to 9pm but it appears as something from Film4 from 11pm to 1:30am. I believe there is a limit on how many recordings can be saved - does anyone know what that limit is? I know I went up to about 250 but I cannot say whether I had 255, or 256, or 257+ recordings, all of which could be significant numbers (8 bits).ġ Scheduled recordings not recorded - or to be more precise, not appearing in the list of recorded programmes. It has worked perfectly ever since and I now have about 230 stored recordings.
One possibly important factor is I fitted it with a 500GB Seagate about a year ago. I also wonder if it might be connected with when I have attempted to reserve a programme, and I get a conflict, and I am offered the alternative, and I accept the alternative. I have had many strange recording problems recently and I am wondering if my problem might have been a corrupted "Scheduled Recordings" list because deleting everything in the schedule, and re-reserving them, seems to have fixed it.įactors which may be relevant are while attempting to reserve a programme, I got an error message saying that I had reached the maximum number of scheduled items - I think it was 25 - and the 9200T refused to reserve the programme.
